Ethnic diversity at HFW
We aim to increase ethnic diversity at all levels of our business, and to create an inclusive environment in which everyone can reach their potential.
Our approach is underpinned by global race and ethnicity principles, which were created in consultation with our Race & Ethnicity Network and colleagues from ethnic minorities.
We have partnered with Bright Network to attract a more diverse applicant pool for our vacation schemes and training contracts. In FY23, 95% of the students who took part in our work experience programmes were from an ethnic minority.
Celebrating diversity
We hold events across our international offices to recognise key religious and cultural dates, from Diwali, Ramadan, and Hanukkah, to Black History Month and South Asian Heritage Month.
We also have a series on our intranet called HFW Together, where colleagues talk about their personal experiences of prejudice and discrimination, to help foster a culture of understanding and inclusion.
