Owen is a partner in the Commodities team, specialising in complex cross-border transactions and disputes.

Dual-qualified in Australia and England & Wales, Owen has broad experience across soft and hard commodities, including grains, LNG, iron ore, coal, and precious metals. He is also an expert in sanctions regimes relating to such trade. Owen regularly acts for domestic and international commodity trading houses, financial institutions, insurers, port infrastructure owners and users, shipping companies and vessel charterers, among other entities operating in the trade and energy sectors.
