George is a Partner in HFW’s Dispute Resolution, Complex Environments and Shipping teams. He has more than 30 years of experience working in crisis management, in the fields of wet and dry shipping, cross-border fraud and asset tracing, and international trade disputes. He has a wealth of experience in the civil and criminal aspects of maritime casualties, including collisions, salvage, groundings, kidnap for ransom, piracy, marine insurance, wreck removal and total loss.

George is qualified in New Zealand, Hong Kong and England and Wales, where he is also admitted as a solicitor-advocate in the civil and criminal courts.
