About Aaron

Aaron is an associate at HFW Singapore, specialising in arbitration, general disputes, commodities, technology law, and shipping. He has experience in arbitration cases under SIAC, ICC, and LCIA Rules, achieving successful outcomes in complex matters, including expedited procedures and disputes in shipping, commodities, and carbon markets. Aaron has also assisted and advised on AI regulation and technology bylaws. Additionally, Aaron also specialises in handling disputes of all kinds such as criminal, commercial and international arbitration matters (with a particular focus on international arbitration and cross border work). Passionate about the intersection of law and technology, he is a frequent speaker at technology and AI-related events, sharing insights on the future of legal technology and its impact on the industry.

During his time in Singapore Management University (SMU), he was chosen to represent SMU in many international moots such as the Vis Moot (where his team won the Vis East Championship), the FDI, and the Stetson moot (achieving excellent results in both). He is also an accomplished author who frequently publishes client updates as well as academic articles in international, regional and local academic journals.
