Elise is a Consultant in the Commodities team in our Perth office.

Elise is also a Professor of Private Law and Commercial Regulation at the University of Western Australia, A Professorial Fellow at the University of Melbourne and a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Law. 

Drawing on her experience in practice in commercial litigation, her work is designed to be used at the coal face of legal practice. Consistently  as an Australian Research Council Future Fellow, Elise has developed important insights into corporate responsibility for serious civil misconduct, including fraud and predatory practices.

Elise serves on the Advisory Committee to the Australian Law Reform Commission (Corporate Criminal Responsibility and Financial Services reviews). Her work has been repeatedly cited and endorsed by the most senior courts in Australia, England, New Zealand and Singapore and by bodies such as the Victorian and Perth Royal Commissions into the Crown Casino group.
