Ashwin is a Partner in our Perth office in our Shipping sector. Ashwin practices mainly in shipping, admiralty and marine insurance.

Ashwin regularly advises to marine casualty management and risk management, including as their multi-jurisdictional regulatory, civil and criminal aspects. Ashwin has been involved in numerous shipping accidents and casualties especially for P&I Clubs and owners in the Asia Pacific region.

On the disputes front Ashwin represents clients in both domestic and international arbitration, and in Australian courts at state (WA) and Federal levels.

On the non-contentious side, Ashwin's work includes regulatory and general advisory and drafting especially in the shipping, offshore and export sectors.
